Visitors are welcome to book an experience ahead of time or stop by for a self-guided tour of our Museum.
S.S. Keewatin tours are available from May-November. We encourage anyone interested to book a tour in advance. At this time there are no self-guided tours of the S.S. Keewatin.
Hours
Winter hours (September to May)
Wednesday to Sunday: 9:30am to 4:30pm
Summer (May to September)
Monday to Sunday: 10am to 5pm
Museum Admission
Adults: $10
Student (with valid ID) / Youth (5-16): $8
Child (4 and under): free

Accessibility
The Museum’s buildings are physically accessible with wheelchair ramps and restrooms. We also offer an accessible parking space and welcome service dogs. Support persons can enjoy free entry to the Museum.

S.S. Keewatin Passenger Experience
The S.S. Keewatin’s Passenger Experience invites you to step aboard with a knowledgeable tour guide to explore the decks, cabins and first-class accommodations of this historic Great Lakes steamship.
This tour is 75-minutes in duration and will require guests to move around the ship, including several stairwells. This ticket also includes admission to the Museum.

S.S. Keewatin Engine Room Experience
Take a journey below decks and get up close and personal with four quadruple steam-powered engines – the same type of engine that powered the Titanic! This tour takes you through the ship’s Boiler Room and Engine Room and is 45-minutes in duration.
This ticket also includes admission to the Museum.
Shipwrights by Improbable Escapes
Do you have what it takes to get your vessel into ship shape?! Dive headfirst into the challenge, tackling the tools and techniques used to build some of Canada’s greatest boats at this very location, a hundred years ago!
Tickets are $17.70 per person

Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you need to cancel or re-schedule your experience, please contact the Museum as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance will receive a partial refund of 80%. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance are ineligible for a refund.

How to get here
The Musuem is located at 55 Ontario St. Kingston, ON K7L 2Y2. Keep an eye out for the big ship!
Parking
Limited free parking is available in our lot located at the bottom of Lower Union St.
There are a also numerous downtown municipal lots and on-street parking available in the area.

The Museum is located along the waterfront pathway and 10 minutes away from the downtown core.
