School Groups

Thank you for your interest in booking an education program with the Great Lakes Museum at Kingston! For more details about each program, please visit our website.

Please note, your booking is not confirmed until you receive a response from us. Completing this form does not guarantee your preferred date or time, but we will do our best to fulfill your request.

Programming is available Monday–Friday from 9:30 am to 4 pm. If you need alternate days or times, please indicate this on the form.

Program Location
On-site programming takes place at the Great Lakes Museum, located at 55 Ontario St., Kingston.

Fees
Education programs cost $5-$8 per participant. Staff, volunteers, and drivers attend free.
Cost should never be a barrier to accessing programs at the Museum. Please contact us if you need fee assistance.

Program Running Times
Most elementary and high school on-site programs are designed to run for 60-90 minutes. If you prefer a shorter program or would like to extend your visit, please indicate this on the form.

For programs extending beyond the allotted time frame, additional fees of $1 per student will apply.
All-day programming is also available upon request! Additional costs apply.

Capacity Restrictions
Due to space limitations, groups larger than 25 participants will need to be divided. Please contact us for large group accommodations.

Accessibility
The Museum is wheelchair accessible, though the S.S. Keewatin is not. We offer two partially accessible public washrooms and one accessible gender-neutral washroom. A water fountain is on-site, as well. On-site parking is available. Please contact us with any accessibility concerns.

Policies
Deposits are fully refundable if cancelled 7 or more days before arrival, but become non-refundable after this deadline. All tours proceed regardless of weather conditions. If the Great Lakes Museum cancels your tour, you will receive a full refund.
