Tim Jamieson

Tim Jamieson is an experienced professional with a career in the Federal public service, primarily with Correctional Services Canada. After graduating from Algonquin College with a Certificate in Architectural Technology, Tim began his career with Public Works Canada. He then advanced through a series of roles with Correctional Services Canada focused on construction administration, in both the Prairie and Ontario Regions. Tim served as Assistant Director at the Ontario Regional Correctional Staff College. He played key roles in the redevelopment of Pittsburgh Institution and the commissioning of new accommodation units at both Bath and Collins Bay Institutions, and was recognized for his leadership in administration, finance, and institutional services. Throughout his career, Tim held several Assistant Warden Management Services positions at various correctional institutions.

Beyond his professional work, Tim has been deeply involved in community service, notably with Habitat for Humanity Kingston, where he served as a build volunteer, Chairman of the Build Committee, acting CEO as past Board Chairman. His interests include golfing, pickleball, cross-country skiing, and spending time at his cottage with family and friends.

Tim joined the volunteer team at the Great Lakes Museum in January 2021 as the Keewatin Project Manager, and was instrumental in coordinating the relocation of the S.S. Keewatin from Port McNicol to Kingston. Tim continues to volunteer at the Museum and assists the Museum Manager in coordinating numerous projects.
