Linda Ann has extensive volunteer and governance experience, at both local and provincial levels, in education, healthcare, tourism and the arts, and is dedicated to the quality of healthcare, culture, and social programs of the Kingston community. Her career has been marked by her contribution through leadership, advocacy, teaching, and community involvement. She has a track record of fully engaging on important issues, providing a strong voice for others, and using her inclusive approach to inspire others.

She has served as a Commissioner and Vice-Chair of the St. Lawrence Parks Commission; a member of the transitional Council of the College of Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Mental Health Therapists; a member of the Board of Governors of Carleton University; a board member, including Chair, Board of Directors, Kingston General Hospital; Board member, Kingston Symphony Association; Board member, Dress for Success, Kingston, with whom she continues to volunteer; and team member for supporting Newcomers our city.

Linda Ann has worked as a Child Care Worker, Probation officer, Coordinator and faculty member of the Child and Youth Worker Program at St. Lawrence College, Kingston, and Founder of Bicycling Ontario.

Linda Ann is a graduate of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts; the Royal Ottawa Hospital with a Child Care Worker Diploma; and Queen’s University with a Master of Public Administration. She is a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal; the Paul Harris Fellow Award, Rotary International; and Honourary Diploma, St. Lawrence College, Kingston.
