Tour Guide
Li Wan is a third-year student at Queen’s University, pursuing a Major in Economics and Minor in Art History, a field he possesses great passion in. He is excited to have the opportunity to work at the Great Lakes Museum and tell the marvellous stories of S.S. Keewatin.
Li enjoys sharing knowledge with others. He worked as a tutor for English as a Second Language (ESL), where he had the opportunity to educate people of various ages and from diverse backgrounds. His experience has granted him the confidence to adapt his communication to meet the diverse needs of visitors.
Li’s first language is Mandarin, but he is fully fluent in English. He came to Canada initially for Grades 11-12 in high school and then continued into the BAH at Queen’s. Following his undergraduate degree, Li hopes to earn his Master’s Degree of Education at the University of Toronto in the future. He believes that, through sharing local history and stories of S.S. Keewatin, more people will be aware of the importance of maritime heritage of the Great Lakes.
