
Jacqui brings over two decades of experience in the residential construction industry and is Director of Sales and Marketing in Kingston Ontario with Tamarack Homes of The Taggart Group of Companies. Jacqui has held several roles including that of Director with the Great Lakes Museum, Senate Member with the Princess of Wales’ Own Regiment (PWOR), Chair of the Boys & Girls Club/BGC South East, Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters KFLA, Chair of Habitat for Humanity KLR, Past President and current Builder Director with the Kingston Home Builders Association (KHBA) and Kingston Frontenac Home Builders Association (KFHBA), Past Chair and current Vice Chair of the City of Kingston’s Housing and Homelessness Advisory Committee, Committee Member with the Governance and Policy Committee of the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF). Jacqui is also a board member with EnerQuality Corporation.
Jacqui is a recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal, as well as recipient of Kingston Economic Development Corporation’s inaugural 40 under 40 awards in 2023, and winner of the 2018 Builder Achievement Award for the province of Ontario and ENERGY STAR Champion award for the province of Ontario in 2017 through EnerQuality Corporation.
She hosts a weekly news segment on Global News Kingston titled Design Ideas with Jacqui, as well as appearing monthly on CTV News Ottawa.
She has been profiled in numerous media for her successes, which she embraces as an opportunity for highlighting the advancement of women in leadership roles.
Jacqui is passionate about our city and history and puts serving her community at the forefront of her priorities. You can catch her attending many local events and fundraisers with her two young daughters by her side, she never misses an opportunity to get the whole family involved.
